GUITAR & BASS
About Me
My journey with music began at the age of 14 when my father purchased a bass guitar. Though he rarely had the time to play, I saw an opportunity and decided to pick it up myself. After about a year of playing bass, I found myself drawn to a more expressive instrument—the guitar—and from that moment on, I was fully immersed in the world of music. As a self-taught musician, I developed a deep appreciation for patience, persistence, and the importance of learning at one’s own pace. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skills beyond guitar and bass, exploring synthesizers, music production, and engineering. While I don’t have extensive experience touring or performing live, I have played with bands, collaborated with other musicians, and recorded a significant amount of music.

Teaching Philosophy
What I find most rewarding about teaching is helping students build confidence in their playing. Learning an instrument is a journey, and progress—no matter how small—is always an achievement. I believe that whatever excites a student about playing, whether it’s mastering a simple riff or tackling a complex solo, is what they should focus on. Passion and enjoyment are what drive improvement. While my primary style is metal, I also have a deep appreciation for the more melodic and expressive side of guitar, such as blues and other genres in between. My teaching approach is centered around having fun while developing solid techniques. I believe that music theory is a valuable tool, but first and foremost, students should experience the joy of playing songs before diving into composition.
What I Want My Students to Take Away
The most important lesson I hope to instill in my students is that the only thing standing between them and improvement is time and dedication. Progress comes from consistent effort, and what you put into your practice is exactly what you will get out of it. I strive to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment, free from pressure or intimidation. I know firsthand what it’s like to be a beginner struggling to find direction, which is why I teach with patience and an understanding of different perspectives. My goal is to help students grow at their own pace while fostering a love for music.

What Inspires Me
Few things are as inspiring as witnessing a live performance. Every time I see one of my favorite bands on stage, I’m reminded of why I fell in love with music in the first place. There’s something truly special about watching an artist perform and then going home, picking up your guitar, and realizing that you can play those same songs yourself. That feeling never gets old.
