Piano, Voice, Violin, Viola, Guitar
Hi! I’m Kelly Reynolds. Like many people who love music, I’ve had my hands on an instrument for most of my life. I’ve always wanted to learn as much as I can — I started with piano and viola when I was little and began studying vocal techniques a little after that. In voice I gained a formal education in operatic, classical, and musical theater techniques, but on my own I’ve been recently exploring more modern vocal styles from pop to metal. I’ve tried to pick up more instruments along the way, taking on an intermediate knowledge of guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and even a little bit of the didgeridoo! I’ve also been studying music production and software for the past few years, so I really enjoy working with music theory, song structure, and composition in my spare time.
I graduated in summer 2021 with my Bachelor’s in psychology and am planning to pursue my P.h.D. in either behavioral or cognitive neuropsychology over the next couple of years. I’m extremely passionate about the importance of understanding how people work, but I’m also just a huge geek for anything about the brain and can talk for hours about it! I also enjoy gaming, yoga, and spending time with my boyfriend and our two very chatty cats.
