Hi! My name is Justin Ward Bullock. If you need someone to help you get your piano journey started, I can do that for you. And it is never too late to get started. Unless you are a ghost; that could be tricky. I am approaching intermediate level in Spanish speaking, and I have a Latino background, so I can help teach Spanish speaking learners.

Musical Upbringing

Since he was a kid, he has always been surrounded by music. Whether he was bum- scooting to the beat or making up his own dance, he has loved to be creative with music. His first memories include punching random keys on the piano to find out what they sounded like. He has been writing music since he was four.

 

Musical Background

He has been taking piano lessons since he was 8, and he has taken five years of choir classes, receiving superior ratings each year. He continues to take piano lessons, so he knows what it is like from a student's perspective. He loves to be goofy and laugh with others but is also very mindful that it is fun for everyone, knowing what it is like to be picked on for being different. 

 

Background

He tries his best to be curteous and respectful to everyone and welcomes anyone from any background. He has lived in Syracuse, Utah his whole life but his father's family is from Guatemala, so he has a Latino Chapin background and can understand some Spanish.

 

Values and Beliefs

He loves Jesus. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and is preparing for full-time missionary service. He is respectful of all religions and understands how to be professional about it, as well. He values family, putting God first, and making kindness a priority.

 

Hobbies and Interests

In case you were wondering, he loves teaching, story-telling, Star Wars, knights and sword-fighting, making music, being creative with anything, spontaneous projects, laughing, making people laugh, dressing-up, acting, building Legos, learning new things, putting smiles on people's faces, being weird and goofy, running, hiking and camping (sometimes), traveling, and watching good movies.
