Catherine started learning the piano when she was 6 years old and has always been very passionate about music. She is currently studying piano pedagogy at Weber State University and is very thankful for all the opportunities she’s been given there. She was awarded the accompaniment waiver scholarship, which requires her to accompany instrumental majors at Weber. In the past, Catherine has also played the piano for the WSU orchestra in their most recent performance, “Movie Score Selections”. When Catherine was 17, she began teaching her first piano student for a few months before she graduated high school. She is very grateful for this experience and is excited to teach more students soon. She has always loved sharing her love for music with others, especially through the piano, and is looking forward to showing her students how much joy music can bring to their lives as well!
