Beginning Piano

Hello! My name is Miranda! I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Utah at the beginning of 2019. I have been playing piano for about 7 years. I first started learning while I still lived in Tennessee, and I continued to take lessons after moving to Utah. Music has always been a source of motivation and inspiration in my life, especially during hard times. Music just makes all things better! I have worked at MAU since 2021 as a Lab Aid, helping students with music theory. I absolutely love teaching students! I am a graduate of Northridge High School; I received my high school diploma in May of 2024. I took numerous college-level courses and finished high school with several high honor titles, as well as a 4.0 cumulative GPA. I am now a student at Weber State University studying computational statistics and data science. In my free time I love to create. I love creating art with paints, pencils, markers, beads, anything I can get my hands on! I also love having pets (I have 3 frogs, 3 cats, and a dog), having plants, playing video games, wearing fun jewelry, traveling, and being with friends!
