Melody Brogdon has her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Utah State University. She has
taught band, orchestra and choir at the Elementary and Secondary level for 18 years. She started
teaching private flute over 40 years ago and also plays piano, violin and viola. She is currently teaching
elementary music with the Ogden School District.
Melody had a very musical childhood. Both of her parents were professional musicians who taught her
and her siblings to love performing and giving back to the community by sharing their talents. Melody
continues to play flute with the Ogden Community Band.
