Join us for another Music Service opportunity!
We had great success with our previous Music Service days, so we decided to do a couple more!
Come play for others and brighten their day with a little music!
A piano is already at the location.
I will provide a microphone and sound system if vocalists need it.
Vocalists, make sure to bring your accompaniment track.
Make sure to bring your own guitar, violin, viola, trumpet, ukulele etc.
Drummers - I am sorry, but there is not a drum set at the location. We will have to wait and hear you at the recital!
You are welcome to sign up for more than one slot on the sign-up sheet.
Your teacher can also help you find a piece to perform. You can also play your recital piece to practice performing for others.
SUMMER FUN!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Summer Camps
& performances in June & July.
We had such a fun time!

COMPOSER OF THE MONTH
Claude Debussy
During his lifetime, Claude Debussy wrote 141 compositions. Some of them were considered chamber music, and others were written for voices and an orchestra. Debussy also composed several operas.
His musical talent allowed him to be admitted to the Conservatoire de Paris music college at just 10 years old.
At the Conservatory, Claude Debussy was always late and would often skip classes. His teachers found it difficult to discipline him and noticed he had an artist’s temperament.
He developed a highly original system of harmony and musical structure.
Debussy’s “Clair de Lune” was inspired from a poem. The poem was about moonlight and the beauty of songs blending with its light while praising the amazing features of nature.
