Taylor Swift is a talented musician; she can play the guitar, piano, ukulele, electric guitar and banjo!
She first performed at age 11 and began writing her own songs and learning guitar at age 12.
She has been named one of the most influential artists in contemporary music since she was named the best new artist by the Country Music Association in 2007. In 2024 she became the only person ever to win the Grammy Award for album of the year four times.
She’s named after James Taylor, one of her parents’ favorite artists.
She grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania.
Taylor Swift has released 243 songs. Her most popular songs include Cruel Summer, Blank Space, Lover, Shake it Off, and Love Story.
