Trumpet & Flute

Born and raised in central Ohio, Andrea graduated from Capital University in 2022 with a bachelors in music education. She has been playing the trumpet for 12 years, performing in various ensembles to include brass quintet, concert band, big band, marching band, symphony and pit orchestras. One of her greatest accomplishments was performing at Carnegie Hall with her brass band, sitting principal solo cornet. Andrea’s favorite part about teaching is making connections with students of all ages and seeing them progress and develop their musical abilities.

She moved to Utah in February due to her husband being in the Air Force, and is excited to explore the area and get involved in the music community.  In her free time, Andrea enjoys hiking (she’d love recommendations on trails here in Utah), eating ice cream,  and spending time with her three-legged cat named Fearn.
