Sara Christensen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and French from the University of Wyoming. She has been teaching music since 2014, including general music, flute lessons, elementary band, and group singing. She has been actively singing in ensembles for over 20 years, and she has been conducting church and community choirs for seven years. Her favorite solo experience was when she sang the part of the Maiden in the production of Rob Gardner's The Lamb of God with the Davis Interfaith Choir at the Tabernacle on Temple Square. 

 

Sara is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the American Choral Directors Association. She recently attended the NATS Science-Informed Vocal Pedagogy Institute, and she is looking forward to using what she learned to improve her teaching. Sara believes that singing and musicianship are skills that anyone can develop, and she wants to inspire a love of learning in her students.
