Marinda Miller

Voice

Marinda Miller has been coaching voice for almost 30 years.  She has a solid performance background in the Musical Arts world.  She has studied with several coaches and continues to hone her own vocal skills.  Some of her most incredible moments have been singing the National Anthem for Utah Jazz games and playing the lead as "Mary's Mother" in the SOTW LDS musical at the Conference Center.  She has studied acting at the Hale Center Theatre and was cast as the "Jazz Mom" for several commercials that aired a few years ago on the Jazz TV channel.  Her passion for teaching is home grown, as her own mother taught voice until she was 75 years old.  Years ago she created a children's singing group in Roy and South Weber called "Marinda's Music Makers.  It was a fun journey as the children learned their music, memorized it, and eventually the group would perform for Assisted Living Facilities.  Marinda is a full time Office Manager for Canyon Home Care & Hospice and teaches in the evenings 2 nights a week for the newly created Music Academy of Utah.

She loves teaching ALL ages and helping others find their "own voice" in this wonderful world of music.
